Guide For Authors

INTRODUCTION

The Journal of Supportive Oncology publishes peer-reviewed articles relating to original research reports and quality-of-life studies in patients with cancer, including original clinical studies, state-of-the-art papers, “How We Do It” commentaries on incorporating best practices, and letters to the editor.

Please note the following:

• Papers submitted to The Journal of Supportive Oncology should follow the style guidelines of the AMA Manual of Style (10th edition).
• Papers that exceed the stipulated word counts will be returned to the author(s) for editing before the paper is sent out for review.
• Papers in which the references do not follow AMA style will also be returned to the author for revision after peer review and acceptance.
• All pages of the manuscript should be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page.
